01The Person

A career built at the intersection of technology and people.

For more than twenty-five years, Prakash Motwani has worked where ideas meet the systems that make them real, with a bias for outcomes over hype.

He began as a founder. In 1998, when the internet was still new, he started Praxonline Interactive and built an e-commerce marketplace from the ground up with a team of fifty, signing more than 300 suppliers and reaching 1,000 subscribers within three months of launch.

In 2002 he joined Netlink in Bhopal, building and leading a team of more than a hundred across engineering, quality, process, launch and support. Chosen by the CEO and board to lead a global supply chain platform, he took it from internal build to SupplierSoftware and then to Xeeva, its own company.

Today, as Executive Vice President at Netlink in Detroit, he leads growth across AI, analytics, ERP, cloud and digital transformation, working closely with business leaders, enterprise clients, government stakeholders and global partners, and strengthening India–US technology partnerships.

Alongside that career runs a wider network: twenty-five years with governments across India, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Europe and North America; more than fifty startups helped from idea to operating business; and relationships with founders, investors, family ventures and mission-driven organisations that keep growing.

02The Ecosystem

Where technology meets opportunity.

A career is not a list of positions. It is a network of people, ideas, institutions and the technology that connects them.

03Startup Ecosystem

From idea to operating business.

Fifty startups. Several industries. One recurring challenge: turning an idea into something real.

Prakash has helped founders and startup teams establish the technology and operational foundations their businesses run on, across industries and geographies.

The work sits on the side of a company that rarely makes the pitch deck: the platforms, the product decisions, the delivery model and the day-to-day execution that turn a plan into an operating business.

04Capital & Connections

Ideas need more than technology.

Ideas move faster when the right people are in the room.

Over decades of building, Prakash has developed relationships across a global ecosystem of founders, investors and business leaders, spanning geographies and industries.

Some of those relationships include people and organisations able to take part in sizable opportunities. What he brings is access, introductions and the execution experience to help a strong idea meet the right people early.

05Government

Working with governments and public institutions

Technology at public scale.

Regions of government work: India, Middle East, Southeast Asia, Europe, North America.

“For more than 25 years, I've worked with governments across multiple continents to turn complex public-sector requirements into technology that can actually work at scale.”
Prakash Motwani

Working with public-sector organisations requires more than technology. It requires understanding institutions, people, policy, scale and implementation. Prakash has spent more than two decades navigating that complexity.

  • Complex stakeholders
  • Legacy systems
  • Procurement
  • Regulation
  • Citizen services
  • Infrastructure
  • Data & security
  • Interoperability
  • Long implementation cycles

06Non-profit

Technology with a mission.

Mission-driven organisations need technology partners that can operate at scale. Prakash has exposure to globally operating nonprofits seeking capable partners for complex, high-impact initiatives, and understands what changes when the goal is impact rather than profit.

10How I Think

Ideas, tested against reality.

  • Building technology

    Outcomes over hype.

Technology earns its place by what it changes for the business, not by how new it is.

  • Enterprise AI

    AI where it matters.

Agentic AI and decision intelligence, adopted with governance, real use cases and measurable business value.

  • Building companies

    Ideas need more than technology.

A strong idea needs capital, relationships and execution as much as it needs code. Most ventures stall in the gaps between them.

  • Government technology

Public scale is a different discipline.

Stakeholders, procurement, regulation and legacy systems are not obstacles to the technology. They are the design brief.

  • Global delivery

Built in India, for the world.

A career that started in Bhopal and runs through Detroit: India–US partnerships work when teams on both sides share one standard.

  • Leadership

    Teams are the product.

Hire extraordinary talent, set direction and empower people to deliver. Great platforms follow great teams.

Off the record

Underneath the work, the same three habits.

  • CuriosityAsking how things work, then asking why they work that way.
  • LearningTwenty-five years in, still collecting certificates in the next technology.
  • BuildingIn 2001 it was Flash games and a cricket scoreboard. The habit never left.

What happens when the right idea meets the right people, technology and execution?

Let's build something that matters.
